More Fake Remedies from Washington
By kavustock on January 17, 2010
With approval ratings dropping fast, Obama struck a populist tone last week while going after those mean nasty bankers. Somehow, the fact that he has thrown the American taxpayer under the bus so those pricks at Goldman Sachs could run us all over several dozen times didn’t seem to come up in his comments. [...]

Why People Cheat
By kavustock on November 22, 2009
Goldman Sachs is reportedly winning 98% of their trades. That is not trading. That is setting the market direction. That’s interesting because that’s not a legitimate role in a healthy market. At some point in the future, the unseemly truth will break to the surface and we will almost certainly discover that [...]

Regarding Corruption
By kavustock on November 9, 2009
If a congressman uses campaign funds to buy cocaine and then gets caught on camera snorting it off a hooker’s ass . . . the people know that’s corruption. But what if it’s less subtle? What if a congressman, heavily funded by the financial industry, crams down an opposing viewpoint like Barney Frank and Friends did recently. Will the average American see the corruption there?

Generex Biotechnology
By kavustock on November 1, 2009
Unlike the NNVC plunge with seemed to have no reason to occur, GNBT had “bad news” on October 20th when it released a Going Concern notice as required by Nasdaq regulations. Before we discuss the going concern issue, I would like to visit the reasons I traded GNBT earlier in the year.
Generix has several [...]

CanAlaska Uranium – Part II
By kavustock on October 25, 2009
In the first article I provided some general background about the company. In this article I will explain why I am a buyer of the stock.
I generally avoid long time horizon investments – there is so much time risk in the market that 95% of my trades are relatively short term. That will [...]

CanAlaska Uranium – Part I
By kavustock on October 20, 2009
Canalaska, stands out as a well-capitalized, well-managed junior uranium miner. While most American investors have focused their attention on companies like URRE and UEC, this Canadian company has assembled a top-flight management team with superior land holdings that would seem to have far greater long-term potential for significant resource development. Capital raising is [...]

Seasoned traders know that there is a lot of opportunity trading bankruptcy stocks. Those companies trade on the pink sheets, but there doesn’t seem to be a convenient symbol list. So I pull together a list of bankruptcy stocks, you can find ithere. I will try to update the list every few [...]

Between a Liberal and a Democrat
By kavustock on January 22, 2010
A lot was written and will be written about the Coakley-Scott Senate race that recently took place in Massachusetts. Most of the writing and observations were typical and banal, nobody will be diminished when those blogs, columns and articles fade from memory. However, I did stumble upon one article that I thought made [...]

Circle of Dupes
By kavustock on November 29, 2009
As ClimateGate unfolds, I am continually amazed that many politicians and most of the main stream media cannot seem to come to grips with the fact that the science behind the IPCC Reports is under question and will require further scrutiny. Many of the journalists that have spread the man-made global mantra are reluctant [...]

Global Warming Credibility Cools Off
By kavustock on November 22, 2009
The main stream media has a lot of skin in the Global Warming game. They have been promoters rather than reporters; studiously ignoring troubling gaps in the science and complete failings in the IPCC forecasts and predictions. Their use for the rational skeptic has been to brand him a fool. Even carefully [...]
